Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Regional Resilience and Security Coordinator.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing CT Prepare Plans and processes, as well as coordinating these plans with key stakeholders within the regional resilience community.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the prevention of terrorist activity and make a real difference in keeping the UK safe.

Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing CT Prepare Plans and processes, as well as coordinating these plans with key stakeholders within the regional resilience community.
  2. Delivering and supporting national and regional training, CPD, and awareness internally and across the regional forces to embed CT Contingency Plans.
  3. Designing, delivering, and supporting testing and exercising programmes against current and emerging threats.
  4. Serving as a conduit for the receipt and regional assessment of tasking from National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and coordinating the regional response to these taskings.
  5. Supporting CTPWM at a local, regional, and national level, including Protect & Prepare Boards and Working Groups.
  6. Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with contacts in all regional forces, including JESIP partners, Military, and Local Resilience Forums.
  7. Planning and prioritizing your own work activities, responding to managers/departmental and organisational requirements.
  8. Performing the role of Protect & Prepare Liaison Officer (PaPLO) to support investigative and intelligence decision-making in response mode, providing advice to Duty Supt's, CTSIOs, and Intelligence Managers regarding aspects of CT Plans and protective security during the Pursue response.
  9. Conducting debriefing activity following testing and exercising and live incidents.
