Technical Manager - Audio Visual Production

Blank Space Recruitment is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to support the technical requirements in our warehouse and project management team.

Our client is a leading Audio Visual events production company that works with top events agencies to supply audio, video, lighting, and streaming equipment for live and hybrid events. From conferences to product launches, brand activations to festivals, they work on a wide range of events.

The Technical Manager will be the technical specialist, supporting both the warehouse team and freelance crew, as well as overseeing the prepping and testing of equipment by the warehouse team. This role requires technical experience in working with audio visual equipment for live events and corporate events, preferably in a rental company or production house.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the warehouse team and freelance crew
  • Overseeing the prepping and testing of equipment
  • Maintaining the rental fleet and ensuring it is up to date and compliant
  • Procuring equipment and implementing cost-saving measures

This is a warehouse-based role with some on-site travel to events if required. If you are an experienced AV Technician looking for less travel, this could be an excellent opportunity to work with a superb team.
