Technical Manager - Audio Visual Production

West Midlands

We are seeking a skilled Technical Manager to support our warehouse team and freelance crew in the West Midlands. As a technical specialist, you will be responsible for keeping abreast of new technology and equipment in the industry, researching and specifying purchases, and overseeing the prepping and testing of equipment.

About the Role

This is a broad role that requires a strong technical background in audio visual equipment for live events and corporate events. You will work closely with the Operations Director to ensure the rental equipment is kept in order and updated to current standards. Experience in procurement, cost saving, and fleet management would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the warehouse team and freelance crew in the West Midlands
  2. Research and specify new technology and equipment for purchase
  3. Oversee the prepping and testing of equipment
  4. Ensure rental equipment is kept in order and updated to current standards

Requirements

Technical experience in working with audio visual equipment for live events and corporate events is a must. Experience in wider areas such as procurement, cost saving, and fleet management would be an added advantage.
