Sustainability Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Analyst to join our team at Freixenet Copestick. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing practice and processes to deliver on our UK sustainability strategy.
The ideal candidate will have experience in sustainability strategies, project management, and analytical skills. They will also have the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making.
The role will involve liaison with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers, to establish needs and requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the wider technical team remit.
Key Responsibilities- Manage relationships with external agencies for carbon data collection
- Complete customer questionnaires on sustainability-related areas
- Report data to the Group as required
- Collect and manage data, submitting it into software tools, including PRN and EPR declarations
- Liaise with colleagues and partners internally and externally to collate accurate data in a timely fashion
- Mine, manipulate, and analyze data to deliver key insights
- Formulate and facilitate working groups to review data and develop action plans
- Align actions with sustainability strategy and vision
- Review actions and plans developed to date and advise on changes and developments
- Project manage the sustainability agenda
- Draft communications to update internally and externally on sustainability progress
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on external developments to remain current and competitive in strategy and actions
- Lead on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the UK business
- Experience and interest in sustainability
- Project management experience through education or employment
- Science-based degree advantageous
- Analytical experience with the ability to develop actionable insights from data
- Experience building relationships and influencing decision-making
- Ability to flex communication style from directive and action-focused to softer and collaborative as required

37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Working collaboratively across all internal teams and liaison with external agencies and teams at Group level
