Job Title: Senior Fire and Security Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fire and Security Project Manager to lead the design, implementation, and management of fire and security systems projects for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to junior engineers and technicians, while also fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain fire alarm and security systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Attend customer callouts as required to provide technical support and resolve issues.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Promote continuous improvement and professional development within the team by identifying training needs and implementing relevant training programs.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and company policy by conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Conduct project meetings and presentations as required to communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and ensure project success.
  • Schedule appointments and manage own service route to ensure efficient use of time and resources.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in fire alarm and/or fire industry, with a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • 17th Edition Electrical qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in maintenance and small works/installations on fire alarm systems, including addressable and conventional systems.
  • Organized with accurate attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing project demands.
  • Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Full, clean driving license required.
  • Willingness to travel as required by project demands.
