The Mill Hill Education Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Officer to join their Finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and guidance to the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with fees administration, including issuing invoices, parent correspondence, and fee billing queries.
  • Administer online banking and payment portals, ensuring smooth and secure transactions.
  • Maintain supplier records, process supplier invoices, and make payments in accordance with school policies.
  • Handle general queries related to the finance department, providing excellent customer service.
  • Liaise with the payroll manager to process payroll for the Foundation schools and trading subsidiaries, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
  • Work with the Head of Finance to prepare monthly and termly management accounts for The Mill Hill School Foundation.
  • Assist with budget preparation for the schools and enterprises, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Support the year-end audit and accounts process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns for the Foundation and Enterprises, in consultation with the Head of Finance.
  • Reconcile balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis and at year-end, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage the supplier payment process, ensuring timely and secure payments.
  • Perform financial analysis, KPI, and cost reports as required, providing valuable insights to the organization.
  • Work with the Head of Finance to review and improve financial systems and processes within the foundation.
  • Provide backup support for schools finance, fee billing, payroll, banking, and other IT systems.
