About the Role

This position involves providing administrative support to ward staff, ensuring that patient records are accurate and up-to-date, and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a working knowledge of NHS organisations.

As part of our commitment to ongoing training, we actively support staff development within the department. We are looking for a flexible and dynamic individual who can work well as part of a team and contribute to the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing administrative support to ward staff, including maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection principles, particularly in relation to patient information
  • Contributing to the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, including inputting information into our PAS system

We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 - £25,674 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a range of benefits, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
