Job Title: Semi Skilled Calibration & Maintenance Operator

Overview: MERITUS is recruiting for a highly skilled Semi Skilled Calibration & Maintenance Operator to join our client within the Defence & Aviation sector on an initial 12 month contract from their site in Bolton. This role involves working on Commercial Off The Shelf equipment, performing Electrical Safety Checks, and ensuring compliance with departmental procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out calibration of COTS Equipment using METCAL.
  • Maintain calibration test records and update databases.
  • Provide assistance to skilled operator during the calibration of Special to Type Test Equipment.
  • Carry out Electrical Safety Checks.
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with Calibration & Maintenance tasks in line with Department procedures.
  • Maintain the highest level of workmanship and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department.

Requirements:
  • BTEC Level 3 in Electrical & Electronics or equivalent is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.
  • Manual handling training.
  • ESD training - desired.

Benefits: As a Semi Skilled Calibration & Maintenance Operator at MERITUS, you can expect to earn a salary of up to £25.26 per hour, with the potential for a single stage interview process and a likely extension beyond the initial 12 month contract.
