Job Summary:

Proactive Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team. As a Calibration and Maintenance specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and precision of our calibration services.

About the Role:

You will work closely with our clients to understand their requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Your strong diagnostic skills and methodical approach will enable you to detect and diagnose instrument faults, with some minor repair capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform calibration and testing activities in accordance with established procedures.
  • Produce calibration and test certificates as required.
  • Detect and diagnose instrument faults, with some minor repair capabilities.
  • Provide technical support to clients, including advice on instrument use, repair, and replacement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a calibration laboratory environment, adhering to ISO 9001 or ISO 17025 standards.
  • BTEC qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Methodical approach with strong diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and numerical literacy skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software packages.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £26,000 per annum, plus benefits such as annual leave, pension scheme, and training opportunities.
