About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Summer Camp Manager to join our team in London-Central, UCL University. This is a residential position with accommodation provided on site.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our summer camp program, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the welfare team, including recruiting, training, and supervising staff members;
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including safeguarding and health and safety procedures;
  • Coordinating logistics, including accommodation, meals, and activities;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required;
  • Providing excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as education, youth work, or a related discipline;
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management position, preferably in a residential setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety procedures;
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.
