Camp Beaumont Deputy Camp Manager Role

About the Position:

As a Camp Beaumont Deputy Camp Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating unforgettable experiences for children. You will be part of a dynamic management team, guiding and supporting staff to deliver exceptional day camp programs and ensuring the well-being of all young camp members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Camp Manager in running a multi-activity day camp for children aged 3-14 during summer and school holidays.
  • Provide essential support to staff members to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for children.
  • Work closely with the management team to contribute to the overall success of our camps.

Requirements:

  • Over 18 years old.
  • Available to work during school holidays.
  • A UK/EU citizen with the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team.
  • Possess bags of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Passionate about working with children.
  • Have initiative and the ability to work independently.
  • High level of safeguarding awareness.
  • Paediatric first aid is desirable.
  • A Level 3 childcare qualification or PGCE is desirable.

Hourly Rate: £14.62 per hour* (includes holiday pay)

Requirements: You need to possess the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for employment with Camp Beaumont. Successful candidates must undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide two professional references.
