Architectural Practice Director

An exciting opportunity for an experienced leader in architecture to join a highly respected, world-renowned architectural practice in Cambridge.
The practice has a diverse project portfolio, including civic buildings, hotels, residential schemes, commercial projects, and public projects. They have a strong pipeline of work and a well-established client base.
As a Director / Partner, you will work closely with the board to assist in the smooth running of the Cambridge office. Your role will involve business development, work winning, and being a client-facing partner in the studio.
You will be responsible for developing relationships with existing clients, taking briefs from clients, and turning them into jobs. You will also attend conferences, meet-ups, and be the face of the practice meeting new potential clients.
The Director / Partner role is varied, and you will be a leader and senior figure in the Cambridge office.
Requirements:
- A degree in architecture (or similar) and significant experience working in a UK-based architectural practice.
- Experience of working at an Associate Director, Director, or Partner level role previously.
- Client-facing and able to develop good relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Experience across a range of UK-based projects. Any experience leading a team on projects with challenges would be beneficial.
- Approachable and an excellent people manager.
- Prior experience of running a small-medium-sized team or practice.
The salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, plus profit share and extensive benefits.
