**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Childcare Professional to join our team at the University of Central Lancashire. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality early years education to young children.

The successful candidate will have experience of planning, assessing, recording and reporting to meet the requirements of the EYFS Statutory Framework. A recognised level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare & Education is essential. You will take joint responsibility for the care and development of the children within our setting.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory framework and Development Matters to ensure high-quality early years education.
  • Assess, record, and report on children's progress in line with EYFS guidelines.
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of activities that promote children's learning and development.

**Requirements:**

  • A recognised level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare & Education.
  • Experience of working in an Early Years setting, preferably with a focus on child-led learning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**What We Offer:

This full-time, term-time only position offers a competitive salary of **£22,000 - £28,000 per annum**, depending on experience. The role is based on campus in Preston, and applicants must meet all essential criteria outlined in the person specification. An enhanced DBS check will be required.
