We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team, working closely with service users and other professionals to provide expert advice and guidance.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and processes necessary to deliver complex services to vulnerable adults.

Salary

£40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

  • Triage referrals into the OT service and provide expert advice and guidance to service users and other professionals.
  • Signpost referrals and respond to queries, supported by the admin team and manager.
  • Highlight high-risk cases and conduct duty visits where required.
  • Hold a small caseload and work closely with service users to deliver personalised outcomes-based solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Record of high performance in successfully delivering a customer-focused service to demanding targets and objectives.
  • Understanding and experience of working with vulnerable adults within a care environment.
  • Sound, practical understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and processes necessary to deliver complex services to vulnerable adults.
  • Competent in the use of case management and document management systems.
