About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Nurse to join our team at Haven House, a leading children's hospice in the UK. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children and young people with life-limiting illnesses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to children and young people with complex health needs, including symptom management and end-of-life care.
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies to ensure best practice in paediatric palliative care.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in paediatric palliative care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years' experience in paediatric nursing.
  • Post-registration experience in paediatric palliative care or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
