We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Dementia Care Specialist Nurse. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Dementia Care Managers in the operational delivery of our dementia care strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, practical advice, and emotional support to families of people with dementia, care team members, and individuals themselves.
- Assist Dementia Care Managers in delivering our dementia care strategy, ensuring a high standard of care across our homes.
- Develop and deliver educational programs for care home team members and families living with dementia, enhancing the skills and competencies of the care team.
- Offer support at all stages, including bereavement, to ensure comprehensive care for families and residents.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to develop and implement best practices in dementia care.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in dementia care and a passion for improving the lives of those affected by dementia.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £30 per hour dependent on experience.
- A full driving licence is essential as it is a requirement to travel across our home portfolio as part of this role.
