Key ResponsibilitiesSome of your key responsibilities will include:
- Specialist Nursing Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide evidence-based interventions, practical advice, and emotional support to families, care team members, and individuals affected by dementia.
- Operational Support: Collaborate with Dementia Care Managers to ensure the effective delivery of our dementia care strategy, maintaining the highest standards of care across our care homes.
- Education and Training: Develop and deliver educational programs for care home staff and families, enhancing their skills and competencies in dementia care.
- Practice Development: Contribute to the development, evaluation, and audit of our dementia care services, ensuring they remain at the forefront of best practice.
- Bereavement Support: Provide comprehensive support at all stages, including bereavement, to ensure the well-being of our residents and their families.
You will have access to relevant courses and training, guided by our Admiral Nurse Competency Framework. This framework will help you maintain and strengthen your clinical expertise as a specialist nurse in dementia care.
Requirements
A full driving license is essential for this role, as you will be required to travel across our care home portfolio.
Desired Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN.
- Experience in dementia care and a passion for improving the lives of those affected by dementia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.

What We Offer- Competitive hourly rate of £25.00 per hour (£45,760 - £52,000 per annum based on 40 hours per week)
