Consultant Psychiatrist in Learning Disabilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Norris Green Community Mental Health Team. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to adults with mental health issues, with a focus on learning disabilities.
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills, knowledge, and experience in General Adult Psychiatry. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical care to adults with mental health issues, with a focus on learning disabilities.
- Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in clinical research and service evaluation to improve patient outcomes.
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management.
- Excellent knowledge in General Adult Psychiatry.
- Excellent clinical skills using bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
