Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in various educational settings across Chester and Cheshire West.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide individualized support to pupils with SEN. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support to pupils with SEN to help them reach their learning goals
  • Working with pupils in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
  • Providing assistance during break times and lunchtimes
  • Supporting teachers to set up exciting and innovative lessons
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Teaching Assistant experience
  • SEN experience
  • Level 2/3 Childcare qualification (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
  • Strong English and Maths skills
