Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching in Ellesmere Port.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be a university graduate with a passion for supporting children with SEN/attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour. A background in psychology is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with SEN/attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour in a classroom setting
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children as needed
Requirements:
  • University graduate with a degree in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, education)
  • Experience working with children with SEN/attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
