Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Prospero Teaching in Ellesmere Port. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology and a passion for supporting children with SEN/attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality support to children with SEN/attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, and implement strategies to promote student engagement and motivation
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth


Requirements

  • University graduate with a background in psychology or a related field
  • Experience working with children with SEN/attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
