Play-Based Learning Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated Play-Based Learning Assistant to join our team at TimePlan Education. As an ideal candidate, you will be passionate about working with young children and creating engaging, play-based learning activities that promote their development.
The Role- Support the class teacher in designing and implementing play-based learning activities that align with the EYFS framework.
- Work closely with children to understand their interests and needs, and develop activities that cater to these.
- Contribute to the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning activities to ensure high-quality education.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community.
- A Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent experience in a nursery or school setting.
- A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework to inform practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- A creative and enthusiastic approach to working with young learners.
- A competitive salary of £85-£100 per day.
- A term-time only contract, Monday-Friday, 8:30-3:30.
- Located in Thurrock, Essex.
