Job Title: Experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant required

We are looking for an experienced SEMH teaching assistant to join our team at Philosophy Education in Enfield. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting pupils with SEMH needs to develop day-to-day and academic skills, social and emotional needs.



  • Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
  • Job Type: Full-time

  • Experience: SEMH or complex emotional and behavioural needs

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have SEMH needs, with a focus on developing their day-to-day and academic skills, as well as their social and emotional needs. You will be responsible for supporting the teacher in delivering lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and providing one-to-one support to students.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote positive behaviour and engagement
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to student support
