Job Title: Construction Director

Future Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead construction operations and drive growth for a rapidly expanding main contractor.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in main contracting, with experience in both New Build and Fit Out projects. They will be responsible for leading construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Strategy: Contribute to strategic decisions to drive company growth and achieve turnover targets.
  • Site Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of all active construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop site teams to ensure they are aligned with company objectives and equipped to deliver high-quality work.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a main contracting environment, ideally within a medium-sized company.
  • Leadership experience, ideally in a Director role, but senior management roles will also be considered.
