Project values range from £1m - £15m, and the company is looking for a talented leader to guide their growth while maintaining their high standards of delivery.

Role Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Construction Director to lead construction operations, ensuring the successful delivery of multiple projects while driving growth and maintaining a commitment to quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in main contracting, with experience in both New Build and Fit Out projects. You will be based in the head office, with an expectation to visit sites at least once or twice a week.

  • Leadership & Strategy: Lead construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Site Oversight: Maintain a deep understanding of all active construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects. Ensure the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop site teams, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and equipped to deliver high-quality work.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Act as the key point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns.
  • Leadership Experience: Ideally already in a Director role, but we will consider candidates in senior management roles who are ready to step up.
