Future Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Construction Director to lead construction operations and drive growth for a rapidly expanding main contractor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in main contracting, with experience in both New Build and Fit Out projects. You will be based in the head office, with an expectation to visit sites at least once or twice a week.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Maintain a deep understanding of all active construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards.
- Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring the seamless execution of projects from inception to completion.
- Lead, mentor, and develop site teams, ensuring they are aligned with company objectives and equipped to deliver high-quality work.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Extensive experience in a main contracting environment, ideally within a medium-sized company.
- Leadership experience, ideally already in a Director role, but we will consider candidates in senior management roles who are ready to step up.
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
- All travel expenses to sites covered.
- Opportunity to play a pivotal role in the company's growth and expansion.
