Technical Manager - Food Manufacturing

Kent, £40,000/£45,000

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food manufacturing with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP controls.
  • Ability to lead and improve compliance with food safety and customer standards.
  • Experience with BRCGS and customer audits.
  • Coaching and development skills for QC and Hygiene teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards.
  • Lead and improve GMP, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP controls.
  • Manage audits, including BRC and customer audits.
  • Handle complaints, product conformance, and root cause analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and external audits.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Food Safety & HACCP qualification.
  • Experience with BRCGS and customer standards.
  • People management experience.
