Job Summary:

Dimensions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team in providing person-centered support to an individual with a learning disability, autism, and specific sensory needs. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the individual's safety, well-being, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centered support to the individual, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the individual's support plan, needs, and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with the support team to minimize behaviors of distress and ensure a safe and secure environment.
  • Support the individual in accessing their preferred activities, outings, and social events.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the individual's support plan, ensuring it is tailored to their unique needs and preferences.

Requirements:

  • Hold a full UK or EU or Designated Country Driving Licence, as the individual requires support with mobility vehicles.
  • Be able to work a 7-day rota, including day shifts and sleep-in shifts, to ensure the individual's needs are met.
  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide references.
