Heriot Brown In-House Legal Recruitment is working with a leading reinsurance company that has a significant global presence, offering a wide range of reinsurance products and services. This company is involved in research and risk assessments from natural disasters to climate change, and emerging risks.
About the Role
Our client is seeking a lawyer to join their EMEA transactional legal team based in London. You will report directly into the Head of Legal and work in a team of 7. The role involves working on transactions mainly across life & health insurance as well as the Longevity space. You'll have full oversight of transactions from beginning to end, and the work will span multiple jurisdictions across EMEA, APAC, and North America. You'll work on structured transactions and provide legal advice, reviewing and negotiating contracts, conducting due diligence, and ensuring compliance with legal standards. You'll also help develop efficient transactional policies, coordinate international legal issues, manage outside counsel, and deliver internal training.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you'll need to be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' UK law experience gained from a well-respected law firm or as a counsel at a multinational organization.
