Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Physiotherapist to join our team in Adult Community Rehabilitation. As a key member of our Therapy Services, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients across a wide geographical area.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to take on a challenging and rewarding role, working closely with patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals to provide person-centered care and support.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective, and efficient interventions, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure patient needs are met.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments, accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized clinical management programs, utilizing a range of treatment skills and options.
  • Manage clinical risk and caseloads, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimum rehabilitation within available resources.
  • Collaborate with patients, carers, and healthcare professionals to promote understanding of the aims of Physiotherapy and ensure continuation of treatment programs.
  • Provide equipment and adaptation assessments, ensuring patients and their families are confident in the safe and correct use of equipment.

Essential Requirements

  • Recognized professional qualification in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with HCPC.
  • Student Clinical Supervisor or willing to undertake training.
  • Able to role model and promote interdisciplinary working, ensuring efficient and person-centered care.
  • Relevant experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and with other health, social care, and voluntary sector colleagues.
  • Experience of working with people with a range of conditions, including orthopaedic, neurological, and general long-term conditions.
  • Knowledge of relevant professional, national, and organisational guidelines and standards required for safe and effective service delivery.

Desirable Requirements

  • Member of a relevant special interest group or network.
  • Experience of working in the NHS.
  • Experience of helping to develop team members and of seeking ways to improve services.
