At Lloyd's, we're looking for a skilled Procurement Governance Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for supporting robust governance, risk management, and processes for Group Procurement. You will assist in evolving best practices, delivering projects, supporting risk management, and coordinating supplier onboarding, audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head of Procurement Governance and the Procurement Governance and Process team in developing a best-in-class function with a long-term vision to deliver a sustainable approach to all third-party sourcing and supplier management while minimizing risk and driving efficiencies.
  • Help the Head of Procurement Governance with diary management and team management.
  • Coordinate the delivery of procurement governance and process improvement projects.
  • Assist in procurement risk management activities, including bi-annual review of the department's risk register, facilitating the risk control self-attestation (RCSA) process, and coordinating the quarterly supplier risk groups with relevant subject matter experts.
  • Assist the Procurement Operations Associate in coordinating onboarding activities for third parties, including due diligence to meet internal and external requirements for relevant regulations.
  • Work with the wider procurement team to ensure data is up-to-date within the contract management system and supplier contact details.
  • Support the delivery of procurement training to the business and internal procurement team.
  • Produce ad-hoc management information for the procurement team and other key stakeholders for appropriate committees and forums.
  • Support internal audit exercises on behalf of Procurement to ensure actions are completed within timelines along with the relevant sign-off and attestations are met within the appropriate timeframes.
  • Maintain and update procurement materials, including MyLloyd's pages, Lloyds.com, and supporting the annual policy review.
  • Take ownership of the Procurement Intranet page to ensure data is current and identify opportunities for site improvement.
  • Manage procurement service tickets relating to supplier changes and purchase order adjustments within the corporation.
  • Role model and coach others on best-in-class Procurement Governance Culture.
