Job Description:


At Procurement Heads, we are seeking a seasoned Flexible Procurement Manager to lead our procurement activities. In this pivotal role, you will shape the operating framework for the Group's procurement activities and oversee major property investment programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic leadership and drive innovation in procurement.
  • Manage and develop a small procurement team of four colleagues.
  • Provide specialist support and advice on procurement issues across the business.
  • Implement and monitor procurement policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and value for money.
  • Oversight of procurement systems and technology, ensuring robust development, implementation, and engagement.
  • Evaluate and embed an inclusive and progressive approach to value for money, incorporating ESG and social value.

About You:


We are looking for an experienced procurement leader with a proven track record of driving change and improvements within a procurement function. While experience in the housing sector is beneficial, a broad background across construction and general indirect categories is valuable in the wider public sector.

Requirements:
  • Advisory role: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, understanding market trends, procurement strategy options, and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and natural coaching style to develop your team.
  • Education to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in procurement (e.g., MCIPS).

What We Offer:
