About the Role

As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 3 procurement professionals in managing significant capital projects across Gas & wider business areas. You will work closely with business partners to develop and implement procurement category strategies, identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings, and ensure compliance with sourcing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and imbed procurement category strategy
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings
  • Lead a team of procurement managers/buyers
  • Ensure effective communication and delegation of responsibilities

Requirements

  • Significant procurement experience with a matrix organisation
  • Highly adept in contract management & negotiations
  • A proven track record of building relationships within a complex/changing organisation
  • Experience within capex procurement is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of enacting innovation/change within a procurement function

What We Offer

£75k - £80k + Package (approximately)
