The Role of the Intake Planning Manager at ASOS

The Intake Planning team plays a crucial role in the success of ASOS.com. Their task is to coordinate the complex inbound flows from global sources to the company's fulfilment centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage intake forecasts versus target and capacity globally.
  • Lead the Intake Planning Team to deliver accurate and timely visibility on inbound volumes.
  • Prioritise critical product into the business.
  • Manage stakeholders across commercial and supply chain.
  • Drive the development and implementation of new inbound management systems.
  • Communicate and escalate intake information to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities to improve and elevate the Intake Planning team.
  • Provide training for new intake stakeholders.
  • Develop and train the intake planning team.
  • Manage a high-performing team.
  • Support the company culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in intake planning.
  • Ideal experience of implementing new systems.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to prioritise based on a good understanding of commercial activities.
  • Excellent time management, with the ability to effectively manage their own workload and communicate confidently and openly with others.
  • An approachable and flexible working style.
  • The ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with various teams, including Buying and Merchandising, Supply Chain, 3rd Party Carriers, and Operations.
