About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist II/III Process Development to join our team at Oxford Biomedica. As a key member of our Process Development group, you will play a crucial role in the development of world-class viral vector manufacturing processes for our proprietary products and partnered programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute laboratory-based experiments and investigations to develop and optimize downstream vector purification and vector formulation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Process Development team to develop and implement new processes and technologies to improve vector manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Prepare and present technical reports and data to the Process Development team and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless technology transfer and process implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum BSc degree in a relevant field, with a postgraduate degree or relevant experience preferred.
  • Sound understanding of downstream purification principles and processes.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience in biological research and development or equivalent experience desirable.
  • Competency in data capture, reporting, and management systems.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
