About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Scientist to join our Process Development team at Oxford Biomedica. As an Analytical Scientist, you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and reporting the results of analytical assays to support upstream and downstream process development activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical assays to support process development activities, including ELISAs, plate-based assays, cell-based assays, nucleic acid extractions, and qPCR.
  • Carry out laboratory-based assays and complete data processing and reporting per the schedule.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting and technical investigations.
  • Contribute to the writing, revision, and review of SOPs and technical reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum BSc Degree programme level, a postgraduate degree, and/or relevant experience.
  • Practical experience in bioprocess analytical techniques, including cell-based assays, nucleic acid extractions, qPCR, and ELISA.
  • Experience in flow cytometry, HPLC, cell culture, and aseptic technique is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate OXB's core values of responsible, responsive, resilience, and respect to deliver high-quality analytical assays.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
