We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our products to customers in your designated area. You will work closely with our customers, key stakeholders, and suppliers to maximize customer opportunities, grow and maintain relationships, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with customers, key stakeholders, and suppliers to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Manage a portfolio of accounts across an agreed area to ensure consistent and high-quality customer service.
- Identify and develop new profitable business opportunities within the area's branch network and the wider business.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to ensure the business remains competitive.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of customer service and sales initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven sales and customer service experience, preferably in a similar industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box.
- Strong product knowledge and understanding of the building materials industry.
