Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project research, including site surveys and site inspections, to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery.
  • Prepare bid and contract documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Prove ability in financial arrangements for projects, including fee forecasting, fee preparation, and allocation.
  • Apply and promote policies relating to health and safety, quality, and training, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide guidance, instruction, motivation, and management to assigned staff on the project, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
  • Responsible for the competency assessment of staff involved in the project, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ability to organize and conduct several activities simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Establish relationships with individuals from other organizations, generating market intelligence and new business opportunities.
  • Able to prepare single discipline bid documentation, in association with other disciplines, to ensure a comprehensive and competitive bid.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer who has a strong grounding in Engineering principles and a good working knowledge of AutoCAD. You will have a BEng/MEng (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering and be a Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer, MICE. You will also have experience or knowledge of resourcing, progress measurement, earned value analysis, completion forecasting, and status reporting.

You will be a confident and professional individual with excellent communication skills, able to effectively influence and motivate clients and colleagues alike. You will also have the ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
