Job Summary

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a reliable and organized individual to provide support to learners and teachers in a primary and secondary school for pupils with severe, complex and profound additional support needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support to the teaching staff

Assist with the preparation of teaching materials

Contribute to the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to the Education Service Plan and the Community Plan

Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults.

Working Arrangements

This is a temporary part-time, term-time post based at Willowbank School, Kilmarnock. The hours of work will be 27.5 hours per week to be worked Monday - Friday, at the direction of the Line Manager.

Salary

The actual term-time, part-time salary for this post is between £15, - £16, per annum.
