Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Education Support Assistant in our East Ayrshire Council. This temporary position will provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking a range of non-teaching duties.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is between £23,271 and £24,157, reflecting the part-time nature of the position.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with classroom administration and practical tasks
  • Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials
  • Support the promotion, delivery, and integration of key objectives
Requirements

This role involves Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults. Applicants must be willing to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or have an existing record updated before employment can be offered.

Working Conditions

This is a temporary part-time position based at Willowbank School, Kilmarnock, requiring 27.5 hours per week to be worked Monday-Friday at the direction of the Line Manager.
