About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our prison healthcare team at HMP Berwyn. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and support to individuals with complex needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in primary care and/or acute nursing, with significant experience at Band 5 in a related clinical environment. You will be able to work independently, think critically, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering first and second reception screening for new arrivals
  • Medication administration, triage, and vaccination clinics
  • Long-term condition clinics, assessing and treating patients

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse qualification
  • Evidence of post-registration qualification
  • Significant experience at Band 5 in a related clinical environment

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
