Job Details

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Functional Assessor to join our team at Maximus. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with disabilities or health conditions and determining their eligibility for benefits.

Salary: £39,500 per annum

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Mental Health Nurse to utilize their clinical expertise in a challenging yet rewarding role. You will work on complex cases involving physical and mental health conditions, chronic pain disorders, and other disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals to understand how their disability or health condition affects their daily life.
  • Produce comprehensive WCA reports to support the DWP in determining eligibility for benefits.
  • Develop your clinical knowledge and assessment skills through ongoing feedback, supervision, and training.
