Job Title: Technical Supply Chain Manager

Brand Organic is seeking an experienced Technical Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our BRCGS certification, ensuring compliance with UK legislation, and liaising with customers and brands on technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain BRCGS certification, including monitoring and updating the Quality Management System as required.
  • Responsibility for label and legal checks for new and existing products to ensure compliance with UK legislation.
  • Liaise with customers and brands on technical issues.
  • Act as point of contact for regulatory bodies and report any issues arising.
  • Manage organic and Demeter audits and certification.
  • Compile and report operational KPIs.
  • Manage customer complaints.
  • Compile data for packaging waste responsibilities and liaise with relevant 3rd parties.
  • Process orders and related transactions on Company's stock management software, Unleashed.
  • Process orders through 3PL software when required, and liaise with providers where required.
  • Communicate with customers and suppliers related to specific orders.
  • Maintain new and existing products on Company's stock management software.
  • Stock purchasing and forecasting alongside Wholesale Manager.
  • Manage freight forwarders and delivery of inventory as appropriate.
  • Improve processes and workflows in line with company and personal goals.

Requirements:

  • Three years' experience in a technical and/or supply role is mandatory.
  • A detailed understanding of the FMCG supply chain landscape, particularly with regards to food and drink.
  • Knowledge of BRC procedures and other technical processes.
  • A flexible and ambitious mindset is required as the company grows and job roles evolve.
