Domestic Loss Adjuster

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Domestic Loss Adjuster to join our team at Sedgwick. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of domestic losses, from initial assessment to finalisation of the claim. Your primary focus will be on providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our policyholders receive a fair and timely resolution to their claims.
Key Responsibilities- Effective communication with policyholders, insurance companies, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless claim resolution.
- Strong analytical skills to assess the cause and extent of the loss, and to determine the appropriate compensation.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage multiple claims simultaneously to meet deadlines.
- Empathy and excellent customer service skills to provide support and understanding throughout the claims process.
- Strong negotiation skills to reach fair and satisfactory settlements for all parties.
- Adaptability to quickly adjust your approach to different situations, ensuring effective and efficient claim resolution.
- Understanding of insurance policies, claims processes, and the technical aspects of property damage assessment.
