The Opportunity
Due to the continued expansion of Sedgwick's Environmental Adjusting Team, we are seeking talented individuals to fill an exciting and varied role as a Development Loss Adjuster. This position reports directly to our UK Head of Environmental Adjusting and offers comprehensive training for those with an interest in environmental claims.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload, investigating, quantifying, and settling claims related to pollution and contamination events.
- Collaborate with clients, experts, and stakeholders to gather information and assess the impact of environmental incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support claim settlements.
- Stay informed about relevant regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends in environmental claims handling.
What We Look For
- Experience with the investigation and handling of commercial or domestic claims on a first-party or third-party basis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interpret information accurately.
- A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- A full UK driving license is essential for this role.
