Account Growth Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team in the Midlands, UK. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in a defined portfolio of existing Key and National Accounts (80%) and developing New Business (20%).

Our portfolio includes some of the most well-known brands in the industry, such as Foster Grant, Gargoyles and Readers.com.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage customer accounts to achieve budgeted sales & profit growth objectives.
* Negotiate multi-year customer contracts to ensure profitable business forecasting.
* Sell new ranges across Sunglasses and Reading Glasses on a seasonal basis.
* Develop and implement Customer Account/Business Plans to deliver budgeted growth objectives.
* Manage customer Sales-Out to optimize sales and efficiencies.
* Close Management of customer inventories and working with Customer Service team to ensure adequate replenishment and/or merchandising calls are made.
* Weekly update of POS and Sales Forecast.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 8 years of sales experience, with management of grocery, pharmacy and mass market customers.
* Experience in FMCG, mass market products, with evidence of working with EPOS/Sales-out data.
* Strong selling performance history, negotiation, product, and analytical skills.
* Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to interact with Executive level staff.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate message to all levels of management within both internal and external customer management organizations.
* Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Office.
