Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team in East Lancashire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive organization, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our General Practitioners, ensuring the smooth running of clinics and enabling them to focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Sort and prioritize clinical post for the GP, signposting relevant tasks to other healthcare professionals.
- Extract information from clinical letters and add it to patient notes.
- Complete basic forms and core elements of more complex forms for the GP's approval.
- Liaise with outside agencies on behalf of the GP, facilitating communication and resolving issues.
- Support the GP with immunizations and wound care, promoting patient safety and well-being.
This is a full-time position, and we offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
