Job Summary
Dr. Oetker UK is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Leyland. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all machinery in the production areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Uphold high standards in Health and Safety, Food Safety, and GMP to ensure a safe, secure, and compliant work environment.
- Be part of a dedicated Engineering Maintenance team that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth running of all machinery in the production areas.
- Provide a proactive and reactive professional engineering service to maintain and improve the performance of the plant.
- Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct equipment issues, and assist with root cause analysis to promote future reliability and improvements.
- Proactively involve in Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Education to HNC, HND, or degree level, or equivalent, and apprenticeship time-served Engineer.
- At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship engineering maintenance experience, ideally served within an FMCG hygienic production environment.
- Technologically savvy to enable full use of the CMMS systems, MS Office, etc.

- 4-5-5 rotating days and nights hour-shift pattern, with a cycle that repeats every 8 weeks.
- Salary range £ - £ per hour, with starting salary dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Overtime paid at x1.5 the hourly rate.
