Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer Opportunity

Dr. Oetker UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art production facility in Leyland. As a key member of our Engineering Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Uphold high standards in Health and Safety, Food Safety, and GMP to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Provide proactive and reactive professional engineering services to maintain and improve the performance of the plant.
  • Complete Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Assist with root cause analysis to promote future reliability and improvements.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of £54,174 - £56,346 (£26.99 - £28.07 per hour), with starting salary dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Overtime paid at x1.5 the hourly rate.

Requirements:
  • Educated to HNC, HND, or degree level, or equivalent, with time-served engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship engineering maintenance experience, ideally in an FMCG hygienic production environment.
  • Technologically savvy to enable full use of CMMS systems and MS Office.
