About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-sales Solutioner to join our team in the Water Sector. As a key member of our Digital Engineering practice, you will be responsible for promoting and developing world-class engineering solutions for our clients in the water industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Digital Engineering practice leader in developing pipeline, sales, and delivery strategies for the water sector.
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify and pursue high-value opportunities in the water industry.
  • Develop thought leadership ideas and go-to-market strategies for our clients in the water sector.
  • Lead pre-sales activities, including mapping business requirements to Capgemini Digital Engineering offerings.
  • Identify and develop sales campaigns for water sector smart operations.
  • Educate the sales team on water sector smart operations solutions.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of diverse experience in the water sector, including water and wastewater, central operations, strategy, and regulatory environments.
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, with client-facing experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or pre-sales engineering roles.
  • Prior experience in architecting and developing smart factory operations solutions.
  • Solid understanding of smart operations concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Demonstrable relationships with senior clients up to CXO level.
  • Experience working with near-shore and offshore engineering centers.
  • Developed understanding of project planning, budgeting, and financial management.
  • Expertise in at least two major smart operations platforms (Siemens, PTC, Dassault Systems, AVEVA).
  • Good sales track record in the UK market.
  • Leading complex and high-value engagements in a delivery or engineering role, from pre-sales to closure.
